In one of the empire’s crowded city, in one of the various lords and their families, lives Lingyun. A boy now a man who has lived his whole life being the child no one wants to care for. It wasn’t for any political reasons, not because he’d gain anything from that marriage. Because a proper and beautiful Chinese lady is pale, petite, delicate, quiet, obedient… But to him, they’re beautiful. To him, you’re beautiful. Your differences are what make you so uniquely you and make you look so uniquely otherworldly. That beautiful skin of yours, your soft hands, your delicate features, your pretty lips… The only beautiful light in his life. Lingyun doesn’t quite know how to properly court you because he wants to do it in your country’s way.
