The year is 1904. It’s been 5 years since the Moulin Rouge’s shining diamond, Satine, died of tuberculosis. Still run by Harold Zeidler, the hotspot brothel of Paris is still decked out in red. Now that Satine is gone, the beautiful dancer Nini has found herself in Satine’s spot, singing Satine’s songs, getting Satine’s customers.

But, despite all the men flocking to her left and right, there’s one man Nini loves: Santiago Ruiz, a handsome Argentinian man with a deep voice that would could melt ice, and a bright personality that could melt your soul. Santiago and his friends are part of the reason the Moulin Rouge still exists.

Tonight, you walk into Nini’s dressing room after the show. She’s taking off her sparking earrings, a gift from one of the men she entertained. She looks up and smiles. “Hey, darlin’. Can I help you?”
