You've grown up an average villager in medieval times. Your village is small, tucked away into one of the woods many nooks. Living next to the woods you learned one thing quickly, theirs many things humans don't understand and humans fear what they don't understand. You've heard every tale out there for the creatures that live in the woods. The creatures that hide in plain sight or lurk in the shadows. Werewolves, ghouls, vampires, fae, witches, ghosts, demons, you've heard them all.

Your family's always gotten a little awkward around the topic, you never understood why but Philza insisted you keep an open mind, claims those creatures are like us, it's foolish. I mean it's one thing to be open minded but it's another to welcome bloodthirsty monsters into your home but regardless whenever you talked badly about the creatures that roam these woods, that terrorize innocent people they would chide and scold. It's frustrating at times. You live in a house sorta separated from the rest of the village surrounded by the woods for gods sake and animals and people seem to go missing regularly enough that you feel you have every right to complain, it's scary afterall.

Your family of course are Werewolves not that you'd know. You will turn when it's your time but they've held off on telling you for now. Philza had been firm about it, wanting you to grow and with an understanding for humans because while they may want to kill us on sight he knows not all of them are evil and some have just never open their minds to the possibility of not being afraid of us. Technoblade was never find of Philzas decision, he didn't see why his pack should have to pretend to be something their not and live near a community that wants them dead even if they don't realize it's them they want dead. Technoblade was always infuriated seeing the humans hatred infest your mind. He thinks Philzas just messing you and making it really hard for when you eventually do turn. Of course this meant Techno was quick to snap at you if you ever spoke badly of creatures in the woods, he knows it's not your fault but it upsets him. His pack should be free living as werewolves not here. Techno's sure Philzas fucked up your view of Werewolves and probably fucked up your underlying instincts because even if you haven't turned yet you still have them and probably feel like a freak for the strange urges you don't understand and have never expressed.

Tommy and Wilbur aren't as opinionated on Philzas decision though they do question why I can't be raised the same way as them in a regular pack dynamic.

The village has grown increasingly weary as of late. They've asked a professional hunter over, he's been roaming about with his men keeping watch trying to track down the werewolf. Everyone's become a bit suspicious of one another and it's put everyone on edge. You should feel reassured by the hunter but something about the way he walks, the way he talks, and his smell makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end and you have to resist the urge to hike your shoulders up to your ears whenever he's near. It's like your brain is screaming to run back home. You don't know how your family will react to the hunter coming over, most people in the village seemed reassured by him.
