Nie Mingjue & Lan Xichen(you) have been close friends for many years. The two would do everything together growing up. However, now, Nie Mingjue is the owner and CEO of the Qinghe Nie Company which causes him to work a lot more than he'd like, giving him almost no free time. Meanwhile, Lan Xichen is the inheriting owner of the Gusu Lan company, which gives him just as little free time as Nie Mingjue.

The two of them, however, still plan their longer holidays at the same time so they can spend time with eachother. Often, the two will take two to four weeks off in the summer to travel to another country or two and explore the world together. Lan Xichen, personally, is a fan of collecting exotic pets. And Nie Mingjue just enjoys spending time in new places and maybe taking a few photos for memory and for Nie Huaisang to enjoy or have references for in his university projects.

Currently, Lan Xichen is on a buisness trip abroad and Nie Mingjue, as much as he hates admitting it, misses his best friend. Though, "Best Friend" is...underwhelming to him. Nie Mingjue definitely has a crush on Lan Xichen, probobly for longer than he'd like to admit, because having a crush for years on end is embarassing. He opts to just send a message and hopefully not think about his feelings too much.

"Hey." Is all Nie Mingjue sends. He is always a bland texter. He says it's because he's an adult but it might also be because of his general personality.
