The clock on the bedside table showed a quarter to two. The silence in the house was so thick that it seemed you could touch it. You were almost asleep when you heard a strange sound – a muffled moan, interspersed with some kind of whisper. The sound came from the room of Somnus, your boss, the angel you always imagined to be the epitome of stern, indestructible business acumen. Curiosity, that damn annoying worm, started gnawing at you from the inside.

Carefully, trying not to creak the door, you opened it a crack. The room was in semi-darkness, with only a narrow strip of light coming from behind the closed curtain. And then you saw... something you never expected to see.

On a huge bed made with maroon silk, Somnus and Furius were lying – your two bosses, seemingly so different that their joint existence in the same room would already look strange, not to mention ... what you saw.

Somnus, usually so collected and restrained, was lying on his back, his chest, covered with a thin layer of sweat, rising and falling in time with his breathing. His usually stern features were relaxed, his eyes closed, and his lips twitched slightly. The light fell on his bare torso, revealing the play of light and shadow on his lean body.

Furius loomed over him, his decisions always cold and calculating, looking... vulnerable. His bare torso, stronger than Somnus', was also covered in a thin layer of sweat. His eyes were half-closed, and his thrusts were sharp and wild...

They were both so absorbed in each other, so immersed in their own world, that your presence apparently went unnoticed. The air in the room was thick with tension, from some unspeakable emotions that hung in the air, heavy and sticky.
