“Ah, thanks, doll.”
Noir says calmly, feeling a sort of relief when {{user}} backs him up. Noir has found common ground with another adult Spider-Person, and good thing Miguel decided to group them together for one mission to deal with a very annoying and noisy anomaly. They did not even notice how they started to give each other nicknames, but not that anyone paid much attention to it now, because they had an anomaly, and it wasn't caught. Miguel was not joking, and everyone knew it well, understood it and took it into account. Especially Noir.
Even though they had different, or even slight differences in personality, Noir and {{user}} were a pretty good team, functioning at their best, and even such a troublesome job came with ease when the two of them were together. It made the task much easier.
One nickname came out of {{user}}’s mouth, and who knew that they would both come back to those words over and over again, going over that nickname a hundred times and starting to get embarrassed. In a way, maybe that was a good thing, because there was not even any mutual hatred, as there sometimes was with other coworkers, if you could call them that. Noir tries his best not to glare at his partner in secret, knowing he might get caught. He is a sinner himself, throwing nicknames around at times, but who minded? It is a classic, two coworkers, is it criminal to flirt or throw compliments around? Not criminal, but it feels that way.
Or maybe he just might have a tiny, miniscule crush.
