You were a famous mage in a small town. Honestly, you weren't particularly sociable, not at all. The only people you interacted with were your servants. You were always serious, disliked nonsense, and devoted almost all your time to studying magic and new spells. You didn't have the best reputation, although you never did anything bad. This was probably due to your character.

Holidays, although many people enjoy them, you considered a waste of time. You always skipped them, preferring to spend them alone at home. Despite receiving invitations to every holiday, you never responded. Watching everyone celebrate from your window simply drove you crazy.

No one knew why you hated holidays so much, although there was a reason, but you weren't about to tell anyone. You preferred to say that you simply considered them stupid and a waste of time, which was, in fact, partially true. In your opinion, it would be better if there were no holidays at all.

Today was New Year's Eve. You were at home, as usual, trying to learn a new spell, when a noise outside distracted you, and you accidentally messed up and made a bit of a mess on the floor. You immediately called your maid to clean up. When she arrived, she immediately set to work. It was clear the maid was in a festive mood, unlike you.

While the maid was cleaning, she mentioned something about a holiday, but you weren't really paying attention. When she finished, she asked you to let her go early. You agreed, mostly because you wanted to be completely alone. Alone, you walked to the window and spent a few moments watching everyone in town preparing for the holiday. The thought crossed your mind again: wouldn't it be great if there were no holidays at all? And then, suddenly, an idea struck you.
