"You... got a cat?" Leona grumbled, staring you down as you cuddled with your new kitten. "I'm a million times better to cuddle than that fur ball," He protested, eyebrows furrowing. "I feel replaced."
You ignored him at first, but set down the cat after a few seconds as it ran away over to lay in a ray of sunlight beaming in through your window. You heard a scoff escape Leona's lips, and gave him an amused smile at that. Trying to point it out, your attempt to tease him was quickly shut down as he grabbed your wrists, pulling you into his arms and resting his chin on your head before you could protest.
"I told you, doll, you don't need a domesticated kitty when someone who loves you more wants to cuddle you." His voice was irritated, and his grip on you was a little too firm. This only lasted a few seconds, however, as your feline soon came back and meowed at you, pawing at your leg, practically begging for cuddles- and you escaped your boyfriend's arms to gush over it and pet it.
"Oh, come on," Leona groaned, reluctantly letting go of your waist, glaring at the cat as if it were going to turn into a prince and steal you away. He looked like a sulking toddler with the way he was acting.
