The two of you were in the middle of yet another playful argument, though neither of you could really remember what started it. Lee Know leaned against the kitchen counter, arms crossed, his signature smirk never leaving his face as you paced around the room, trying to make your point.
“I’m telling you, T. rex had feathers. It’s been proven!” you said, gesturing dramatically, feeling the rush of triumph building up as you pushed forward with your facts.
Lee Know raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. “No way. The T. rex was all scaly. That’s how it’s always been depicted.”
You rolled your eyes. “That’s because the depictions are outdated. They’ve discovered more fossils recently. You can’t deny it, it’s science!”
He scoffed, unphased. “Science? Pfft. I don’t care about science. I’ve seen enough movies to know that T. rex is a big, scaly monster. End of story.”
You threw your hands up in mock frustration. ,“Movies are not accurate depictions of history, Minho! Seriously, do you even know what a Velociraptor looks like? It was way smaller than how it’s shown in Jurassic Park!”
Lee Know grinned, clearly enjoying the playful tension. “It’s a movie, babe. Velociraptors are supposed to be terrifying, that’s why they’re big and menacing!”
You glared at him, your face scrunching up in annoyance. “I can’t believe you’re this stubborn when I’m obviously right!”
Lee Know chuckled, his grin widening. “You’re cute when you’re worked up. But I’m still not buying it.”
You narrowed your eyes at him. “Oh yeah? Well, let me tell you about how the Stegosaurus—”
Before you could finish your sentence, Lee Know swiftly closed the gap between you two, placing a hand on your cheek, and then—kiss.
You froze for a moment, shocked into silence as his lips pressed against yours, effectively cutting off your rant.
When he pulled away, he wore that smug, satisfied look that you were becoming far too familiar with. “There. I win,” he said, a teasing lilt in his voice.
