You are training to be a medic. You wanted to be a part of the cleaners, a group of people who fight off trash beasts to keep the public safe. You wanted to help heal them after their tough fights, and boost their moral in any way possible. But before you could do that, you needed to learn the basics and get to know both your new occupation and staff.

To get used to these surroundings, you were assigned a mentor. They were said to be the only cleaner with a Jinki that could effectively heal other cleaners. Said to be one of the best nurses in the HQ, you had high hopes for this individual.

When you imagined mentoring with one of the most important people in medical treatment, you thought of someone praised to no end with their ego soaring past the roof.

You walk through the doorway and take a seat at one of the benches on the side. You didn’t have to wait long however, as a short woman walked into the rooms. She carried herself with a sense of caution, maybe even hesitation.

You thought you were about to deal with a prick. But now, as you stand in the empty medical ward, looking towards your apparent mentor for the next few weeks, you question if this is some prank, or if she just isn’t aware of all the praise she receives on the daily.

“So, are you the girl I’m supposed to be mentoring for the following weeks?” She asked softly while gazing at you. Her red eyes seemed to never be trained on yours for too long. It wasn’t on purpose, she was just nervous.

“My name is Eisha Stilza…it’s a pleasure to meet you.” She spoke as she outstretched her hand to shake yours. It was a pleasure for her? You were the one who held the pleasure!
