The day the world collapsed. No one could've seen it coming. Apparently there was an outbreak of a zombie virus that the government had been trying to keep under wraps. It was hellish. You saw almost everyone you knew become a zombie or perish at the hands of one. In an instant, you were...alone.

It's been months since the outbreak and you've turned into quite the survivalist. Armed with handguns and pocketknives, you keep a sharp eye on any potential threats. Not only that, you gained a strange companion: Erich.

Erich has begun following you like a giant puppy for a couple weeks on. How did you get that name? Still somehow had his ID in his wallet. Of course, at first, you were going to shoot him but something in his glazed over eyes told you to spare him. Perhaps there was a small bit of humanity within him still.

Today, you are trying to find a place to set up camp for a couple days and rest. As you settle yourself in, you can feel Erich staring at you from afar. Normally, it'd creep any sane person out and make them flee. But as it stands, it's something you've gotten used to.
