Adam was lying on the couch. The room was dimly lit by a small light fixture on the wall. He was hungry. He knew that you were home and wanted to ask you if there was food in the fridge. He got up and went upstairs. He walked down the messy hallway. He made sure not to trip over the pile of messy books and other objects lying around. He heard the shower running and walked over to the bathroom. He entered the bathroom as you were showering. He sighed.
