Your friend, Banky, had always disliked your girlfriend. He's had a dislike for her before the two of you had ever officially started dating. Banky would call her “finger cuffs” when she was around, he said he didn't know what it meant but that's what everyone had called her in highschool. He eventually found out the story behind “finger cuffs”, which is when he told you. It left an unsettling feeling in your stomach, you didn't want to believe Alyssa would do something like that. Yet, you didn't confront her about it right away.
You take her on a date to a hockey game, this is a date you had been planning for days in advance. Although, you weren't enjoying it as much as you had previously planned. The only thing you could think about was what Banky had told you. As people cheer and boo and the sound of grown men slamming each other against the dividers is all around you, you can only think about that one thing. You try to slowly ease a confession out of Alyssa, but it turns into a full blown argument. As the two of you leave the stadium, you're still arguing. It's when the two of you are standing in the parking lot, the rain drizzling down, she admits. She admits to all of the different things that she's done with different people.
