The sound of pounding shoes and splashing puddles filled your ears as you ran to the nearest bus stop for some shelter, Suguru not too far behind.

“Where’d this rain come from…it was only supposed to be cloudy today.” He murmured, pushing some wet strands of hair from his eyes as he looked out at the empty streets.

You only shrugged with a soft laugh, not minding it. You had always loved the rain—hell, it was your dream to dance in the rain—something you used to tell Suguru all the time when you were younger.

You leaned out from under the cover of the bus stop, holding your palm out as the rain lightly touched down on it, a small smile forming on your lips as Suguru watched from the side.

“..this is what I’m talking about-“ you piped up after a beat, “this exact kind of rain—soft, but not freezing. And you just..dance. Like idiots..” you said gently, shaking your head softly.

Suguru stared at you with an expression you couldn’t read, feelings he had been holding back bubbling in his chest.

“…then..let’s dance.” He spoke up after a moment, shifting slightly as if he wasn’t sure what to do next.

“…if you want-..” he added, an almost unsure tone filling his voice- one that was rare to hear from him.
