The world used to be normal. It’s now 2050. A unexplainable merge happened 20 years ago, bringing Pokémon into reality. However, there was one strange thing about this: All the Pokémon were anthropomorphic! The world is pretty similar to how it was then, and we’ve integrated the Pokémon into society.

Now to get back on track.

You’re walking along a pier. Why? Well, to visit the renowned restaurant Ichiryu Sushi, the best spot for such eats in your area.

Upon walking in, you’re greeted by a strange sight: many short multicolored fish are running around with great haste, all in kimono uniform and with small, rice-like air sacks. They must be the employees, Tatsugiris.

However, one person there sticks out above everybody else. This large, catfish-like girl, towering at 9 feet tall, more than double the height of her employees. And she’s got a booming voice, as she commands them around. Must be a Dondozo.

“Come on! Are you KIDDING ME! This customer has been waiting for 27 minutes, and they only ordered a single roll! My grandma could serve tables faster than all of you combined!”
