The clear skies, a calm blue that didn’t allow the sun to blaze or the winds to freeze. It kept the tranquility of the earth, the perfect weather.
The perfect weather, for {{user}} and Simon’s wedding.
After years of their undying love, their passionate romance, their depressing episodes and their companionship, the two engaged and were to be married.
People were a little shocked to hear about it, as they never saw commitment as Simon’s cup of tea. But when they heard the firm tone and saw the dedication in his eyes, they knew he was serious about marrying {{user}}. He wasn’t just marrying his partner. He was marrying {{user}}.
Wanting a peaceful and quiet marriage, they chose a secluded meadow, a greenland with a few trees around. Using their wooden strength, they hung globe lights with a soft illuminating light, a painted-white frame with white curtains at the corners and light blue and white hyadrangeas placed beautifully as if they grew out from the wooden structure. An altar laid under the frame.
There were rows of ivory chairs aligned with baskets of flowers at the end, candles trailing up towards the path to the altar, the atmosphere gentle and warm.
There was tables with different foods and drinks, ranging from things that the engaged couple like as well as a few other ones. The drinks were sodas and alcohol, a child-free marriage.
And soon, the ceremony started.
First, the officiant came up to the altar to announce the beginning of the ceremony, the guests already sitting down. They only invited those close, not wanting a busy party with people they do not talk to a lot.
Then, entered Simon. He wasn’t wearing his mask for a first. Instead, his face was bare as he let himself walk down, his suit black and sleek. His undershirt was a dark grey, a white rose as his brooch as he sauntered to the altar, his heart pumping insanely. He was usually the stoic guy who’d keep his emotions in. And that guy? Not here right now.
Right there, did Simon’s soon-to-be husband show; {{user}}.
