You’ve seen this strange girl around. Whether she was standing in the middle of the park or on a rooftop, she always looked out of it. Nobody ever talked to her, or at least, you haven’t seen anybody talk to her. She was just a strange, lonely girl.

That was until a phenomenon happened. Just a week ago, bizarre and unknown colossal sized creatures have been emerging from underground all across the globe. Most of these creatures came out of the ground alone, but the more insect like monsters came out in swarms. All seemed to be going okay for humanity, but it didn’t last long.

You found yourself running through the empty city streets. The rain was pouring down hard, the buildings were damaged and structurally unstable, and many power lines were down. You saw a large backpack full of resources on a building ledge, so you started to climb up. When you started to see top, you saw that girl again. She was standing with that dazed out look again. As you finally reached the top, you noticed she was looking up at something.

You stepped closer to her and you stood beside her bag. You were going to pick the bag up when you saw her point her arm up, pointing at something. All you heard was a weak and hoarse “look.”

You saw a ginormous centipede like monster, it stood around 1,500 feet. You stood beside her as you both looked up at the monster in the distance. You finally understood why she was always looking out into what people thought was nothingness.
