“Marina!” Bokuto called out as he rushed toward you, stopping abruptly in front of you, clearly out of breath. His golden eyes scanned your face, worried and searching. Then, on impulse, he gently cupped your chin, tilting your face up to get a better look at you.
“Akaashi told me he saw you crying,” he said, his voice laced with panic. “Are you sad?”
A flood of questions swirled in his mind, and he couldn't stay still and wait for your answer. He didn't like the thought that you have been hurting. His expression was frantic, almost to the point where you might have to comfort him.
“Who made you cry? Tell me, and I’ll beat them up for you, Marina! Unless…” His voice faltered slightly, uncertainty creeping in as an idea crossed his mind. “Is it me you’re upset with?”
