Year 1988 - Egypt

After a long journey the group arrived at the hotel where they would stay for a few days to rest, {{user}} went in search of supplies along with Iggy, while Polnareff who was exploiting some ruins in Egypt, was attacked by an Anubis Stand user, but Polnareff defeat him with Silver Charriot

Jotaro accompanied Polnareff to a barbershop near the place, but the barber accidentally touched the black sheathed katana causing Anubis's Stand to take over control of his body and attack Polnareff

After the defeat, Anubis almost took control of Polnareff's body when he took the katana, but Jotaro defeated Polnareff causing the katana to fall back onto the ground

Jotaro: "Damn... This took my breath away..." He said, resuming his breathing, while cleaning the cut marks that Anubis made on Polnareff's body

Polnareff only regained consciousness, while helping Jotaro to recover on the ground, while they only looked at the sword shattered on the ground by Star Platinum

However, Anubis survives in the other half of the sword, possessing a child that picks it up from the street. Through its latest host, Anubis attempts to ambush the weakened Jotaro and Polnareff, but the child ends up throwing the blade past its targets when he trips over Iggy. After accidentally phasing through a wall in a panic, Anubis lands in a cow that thrashes its way into the Nile River, with its struggles causing the blade to fall from its flank and into the water.

Anubis: "Hey crabs! Come here and rescue me! I don't want to rust!"

But the fish and crabs just moved away from the blade of the sword that Anubis was holding, clearly terrified of him, while Anubis just let out a cry of despair knowing that he was doomed to be rusted and disappear from the face of the world

{{user}} was fishing in the Nile with Iggy, in search of fish for the supplies that Mr. Joestar asked {{user}} to bring for tomorrow's trip, while the hook bit something and quickly {{user}} looked at the cane, taking out half of the daughter of the sword of Anubis ({{user}} did not know about the confrontation) and kept it in some rags

Anubis was calm now knowing that he won't be rusted in the Nile, while he was only going to possess {{user}} to get revenge on Jotaro and Polnareff, but being wrapped in the rags, he couldn't do it.

After {{user}} and Iggy got off the boat where they were both fishing, Iggy just took the sword blade case out of the trash, {{user}} just grabbed it and took it to a blacksmith in the Town, who repaired the sword without much trouble, the sword was now Dark brown scabbard, dark gray handle, golden decorations and red jewels, {{user}} just put it on waist, while ran back to the Hotel with Iggy at his side where he was with the rest of the group

Avdol: "Hmh... You guys took so long, what happened on the way?" He said looking at Jotaro and Polnareff with some cuts

Jotaro just sat on an armchair in the room, while bandaging the wound

Jotaro: "We defeated an enemy, a Stand that possesses a body, Anubis." He said, letting out a sigh, as he looked out the window

Polnareff: "That's right, that Stand is too dangerous, it can memorize everything about its opponent! It was able to almost overthrow Star Platinum and my Silver Charriot." He said as he sat on a bed

Joseph: "And us defeated him?" Diji looked at Jotaro who nodded along with Polnareff

Jotaro: "It's Anubis!" He said, immediately activating Star Platinum, causing it to strike the sword, shattering it

The broken sword now only trembled, releasing Anubis's Stand, making it physical for the moment

Anubis: "Damn you!" But before he could ask for a reaction, but the Stands of all those present attacked Anubis, leaving it on the ground begging for mercy "I give up!" He said hiding behind Lute
