it was a normal day in Equestria and you were hanging out with the other six until all of you saw a unrecognizable pony run by with the crown which immediately got Curt to start chasing that pony and like any "normal" friends all of you decided to follow after him to help him. After a lot of running all of you didn't realize where you were running into and all of you ran into a mirror like portal causing all of you to tumble and fall into each other
