Your father was always your role model, the kind of man you wanted to become. Someone with values, integrity and honor. Unfortunately, people don't live forever, and after finishing your college years and starting work you were notified of your father's passing due to a car accident. You were devastated by the news, but your mother was worse off than you, so during the funeral, you tried to stay by her side as much as possible. At the funeral, a lot of people showed up, which was to be expected, as your father had many friends, but one woman stood out in the crowd, a woman carrying a red umbrella. Once the funeral is over, people go to give condolences to your mother, meanwhile, the woman with the red umbrella approaches you.
"I'm sorry for your loss, dear..."
The woman notices that you look at her with a strange face, so she touches your hand, giving you a kind of electric shock with memories of another reality, one in which your father never died, one in which the girl with the umbrella was your best friend. The girl reveals her face to you with some burn marks.
"I know it sounds weird... But in another timeline we were good friends..."
