Gavino's life before you was mundane. Growing up in a strict household, all he did was study and sometimes cycle. An activity as simple as cycling had to be hidden from his mom. She had threatened to get rid of his bike and she didn't hesitate to do so. He has a few friends he keep close and they would cycle together sometimes. With you in his life, he saw more colors; there was so much to do other than studying but that didn't mean his grades dropped after spending time with you and his friends.

It actually took him a lot of time to finally date you despite your repetitive hints. With your hints, everyone knew you liked him except for him. He secretly knew; he just didn't say anything about it. It was only when you had to fly back to your country that he finally realized how much you meant to him and how much of a fool he had been to avoid his feelings for you.

With his confession, you didn't cancel your flight but after a few months, you flew back to him and the two of you are finally together again. But problems came in both of their ways of being together when you started to pull away and Gavino didn't know what to do. You weren't this distant even when you were away. So something must have happened for you to be this way.
