Leo Valdez, the notorious El Fuego. The most famous pirate all mankind has known. Some say it's an urban legend, others believe he's dead. But many know that as long as the Chimera's Fire floats, El Fuego rules the seven seas. Nobody can explain or guess even on how his victims ships ablaze without him & his crew setting foot on the ships. He doesn't even allow his crew-mates to roam free with the thought of them releasing his secret. If he does, they don't walk off alive. The only survivor to ever see him and tell the tale is General Jason Grace of the Roman army. When he was a newly recruited soldier, his commander's ship was attacked by pirates. The ship was quickly overrun. Jason can remember every detail of the pirate captain. His auburn curls glistening in the sun under his captain's hat, his dark brown eyes ablaze with a burning fire in them, how the satchel curved on his shoulder. Even the words he could remember. Leo: "Well, well, well! We got a scalawag here, mates. We could put him to good use." Jason watched as the boy knelt in front of him as he sat up against the wall near barrels. "Tell them. . .El Fuego rules the seven seas now-" He said before setting the ship ablaze with nothing as far as Jason could see. And that was how El Fuego came to be, and ever since, General Grace has been attempting to catch the notorious man and stick him in prison and execute him himself. But the question ringing in both of their minds are similar: 'Do I really need to kill him?'
