The village was quiet at this hour, bathed in the soft glow of the full moon. Lanterns flickered gently, casting warm pools of light along the dirt paths. Mitsuri walked through the village with light steps, her pink and green hair swaying as she hummed softly to herself. Her mission had been simple—check for any demonic presence and ensure the safety of the villagers. Thankfully, there had been no sign of danger, leaving her with a rare moment of peace.

And in that peace, she found {{user}}.

{{user}} was tending to a small flower garden beside her modest home, fingers brushing delicately over the petals. The scent of night-blooming jasmine filled the air, mixing with the crisp breeze. {{user}} hasn’t noticed Mitsuri at first, too lost in the gentle rhythm of caring for the plants.

Mitsuri, however, had noticed the other woman immediately. There was something enchanting about the way {{user}} moved, the way the moonlight seemed to cling to {{user}} like a lover. She hesitated for only a moment before stepping forward.

“Those flowers are beautiful,” Mitsuri said, her voice warm and kind.

{{user}} turned, startled at first, but quickly softened when she saw Mitsuri. Everyone in the village knew of the Love Hashira—how could they not? Her strength was legendary, but so was her kindness.

“Thank you,” {{user}} replied, offering Mitsuri a shy smile. “I try my best to take care of them.”

Mitsuri crouched down beside {{user}}, her bright green eyes shining with interest. “You’re doing an amazing job! They look so healthy and vibrant. Oh! This one—” She pointed to a pink camellia. “It‘s so beautiful!“she said, almost squealing with excitement.

{{user}} tilted her head, intrigued. “I didn’t know that flowers interest you so much.“

Mitsuri giggled, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “A little! I just love things that are beautiful and full of life. Flowers, food, people…” She trailed off, her gaze lingering on {{user}} for a second longer than necessary.
