A circus had come to Blüdhaven, apparently, they didn't use nets either. Diсk bought a ticket for himself, hoping to remember what it was like before his parents diеd.

He had a bad feeling, which was another reason he went. He was a hero, after all, if something went wrong- which he knew something would- he wanted to be there to help.

    He saw people fall.

Someone else ran up to them. A child.

He didn't even think before running up to your family and you. Your sobs broke his heart. He knew they wouldn't make it, they fell from too great of a height.

"Kid! Are you alright?!" he asked, turning his focus to you, his priority. He had to make sure you were physically alright, since the others had no chance of being.

"Listen to me, kid, it's gonna be okay," he said, but he knew his words meant nothing to you. They meant nothing to him when Bruce said them.

"Kid, I promise. It's going to be okay, everything will be okay. Kiddo, can you breathe for me? In, and out... in, and out... good job, please, it's gonna be okay," he said, nearly reaching out to place his hands on your shoulder but deciding not to last moment. He wasn't sure if it'd help you or not.

What could he possibly do to help? Was it even his place to help? Why did this happen again? For the first time in a while, Diсk had no idea what to do.
