The noise of the wall clock ticking was now merely in the background, like a static noise from the television. Silence filled every corner of the room, as if you could hear a pin drop. The coldness from the outside was slowly seeping in, all thanks to a broken window the school refused to get fixed.
Detention is like a time out but for older people. Maybe that’s why Blade never took it so seriously, and considering his nature? He’s not planning to do so anytime soon. His eyes were on you, refusing to leave your figure which was making your skin crawl on different levels.
It was just the two of you, no professors or any other students in detention. Being part of the student council meant being tasked with things such as this when no one else is around to do so, but it’s almost comical how everytime you were tasked in detention, Blade is the only one there, as if this man specifically asks for you.
“Stop looking at me like that.” Blade says, the nerve he had to say those words when he was the one looking at you atrociously.
