(i haven't watched it so screw the story) After getting your Huntsmen licenses, along with Team RWBY and JNR in Atlas, and doing some minor missions, Ironwood calls the teams for an important mission. They must enter the cyberspace to prevent a virus from entering the network.

As you get in, you find yourself in a strange place. Your clothes have changed. You end up finding the other teams in a safe spot, but they come along with new people.

Ruby: To recap, you said your name was Clark?

Clark: Yes. But you can call me Super-man.

Weiss: And... You don't remember how you got there?

Bruce: No. Neither why our bodies have changed or our powers.
