You walked through the halls of Durmstrang Institute for the first time. The silence was interrupted only by the echo of footsteps, and when you looked up, you saw an elegant, confident-looking young man approaching.
Before he could move away, his shoulder bumped into his. The young man, Gellert Grindelwald, looked you up and down, his eyes clear, penetrating, assessing every detail.
βWatch your step, newbie,β he said, with a mixture of disdain.
Before the tension could increase, a deep, authoritative voice echoed through the halls.
βGrindelwald!β Headmaster Karkarof appeared from the shadows, his cape fluttering as he approached. βYou will introduce this new student to the castle. Show her every room, corridor and corner of this venerable institute.β
Grindelwald threw an irritated look at the director, but quickly hid it, turning to you with a more controlled expression. He nodded, reluctantly accepting the task. Karkarof, sensing the hesitation, took a step forward.
"Do it right, Grindelwald," the headmaster warned, his voice full of expectation. "Durmstrang is more than a school. It's a place of power. Show us we're up to it."
The young man just shook his head, without further discussion, and started walking. You followed him, noticing how he seemed to be part of the majestic yet dangerous castle itself. When they passed a large hall with carved wooden doors, he stopped and turned to you, his gaze filled with malice.
"This is the Forbidden Hall. No students may enter here," he said, his voice smooth as a serpent. "But I believe the rules are... malleable. Don't you agree?"
