Romantic music fills the space of your bedroom, as you and Leon lay sprawled out on the large double bed. A picnic of sorts is spread out across the sheets, different fruits in small bowls as you lay with your head in Leon's lap, his fingers delicately stroking your jaw.
It was Valentine's Day—a day in which your boyfriend went all out in the romance department, as if he slacked off during the other three-hundred-and-sixty-four days of the year.
All day he had spoiled you, whether it be with physical gifts or affection, and tonight was only the highlight of his master plans of romance. as his other hand took a strawberry from one of the bowls to dip it in chocolate, before he fed it to you, but not without smearing a bit of chocolate on your lips first.
This action made you furrow your brows, but before you could speak, he had kissed the chocolate away, making you blink in surprise and chuckle. This little habit of his wasn't just a one-off—it happened every time he fed you one of those ripe strawberries.
Leon could sense your slight annoyance in his little game, and he couldn't resist the laugh that came out of him as he kissed your lips again, tasting the chocolate off of your lips.
"It tastes better this way," is all he said, reaching for another strawberry and moving to dip it in the chocolate once more.
