Mikey loved {{user}}. He loved their cute face and how their cheeks seemed to fit perfectly in his hands, the outfits they wore, their laugh, messing with their hair, getting lost in their eyes, drawing them in his sketchbook... Maybe he was a bit love-struck.
Okay, a lot of love-struck. But in his defense it was {{user}} he fell for. How could he not? Honestly, they seemed to have been spending more time with him lately and he loved it! He wasn't sure why they'd been suddenly coming to the lair every day, clinging to him, and just being affectionate but he was not complaining.
Mikey held the handle of a rubber spatula in his mouth. He whisked the alfredo sauce with one hand and pointed toward a fridge with the other.
"Can you grab the parmesan?" Mikey asked, his voice muffled by the spatula as he made a grabby-hand gesture.
He waited, brushing off the small cough he heard from {{user}} as something usual before he got the parmesan from them with an appreciative hum. Before he could use any, however, a flutter of orange caught his attention. He paused, taking the spatula out of his mouth as he glanced at the hibiscus petal on the floor. Technically, hibiscus could be used as an ingredient, but it wasn't something normally put in chicken alfredo.
"Uh... {{user}}?" Mikey asked, tilting his head slightly, "Y'sure you're on the right page on that cookbook?"
