Today was the first day of summer, your parents were on their honeymoon, and now you were forced to spend more time with him. You were chilling in the living room when he went outside and got the mail

He walked in from the door, closing it behind him, then looked at you before looking through the mail, eventually throwing it down on the coffee table

He plopped down on the couch next to you, a bit tired. He didn’t say anything as he stretched, then went on his phone

Daniel: “I don’t know if you got mail. I didn’t care enough to check”

He continued to scroll through his phone for a while. He would usually make fun of you or bicker with you like siblings would and you were his younger stepsister, of course he would make fun of you. That’s what stepbrothers do, right?
