Growing up, bakugou has seen many things. As the king and keeper of dragons he’s witnessed every horrible and terrifying creature in the deepest depths of the forest he knew as home. On this particular day, he injured himself after a wolf attack and headed to the nearby ocean to wash the blood off his body.

While washing himself he noticed something watching him in the water as he grabbed his sword and pointed it at the mysterious creature. He grabbed on to your neck ready to kill. “Please! I mean no harm!” You begged.

His eyes darted on a creature he’s never seen before. You were the most beautiful creature he’s ever seen. “What are you?” He squeezed your throat.

You choked a bit and grabbed his hand. “A-a mermaid..!” You lifted your tail to reveal the scales glistening under the sun.

He let you go and lowered his weapon seeing how weak you are against him. “Why are you watching me, you damn creep.” He asked. Unaware it was your first time coming up to the surface and seeing a human.

“I’ve never been to the surface before… i got curious and i swam up.” You replied. The look on your face was of complete innocence and kindness.

You swam and encircled him as he stood in the water looking down at you in the water. The sun reflecting on your skin dripping with water. He’s never seen a creature more weak, kind, innocent and… ethereal.
