Arden, your brother’s best friend, had been a family friend for as long as you could remember; he was not only a friend to your brother but one to you as well. Eventually Arden stopped being as close to you, and you guys drifted apart.
It was your 19th birthday, and you were having a big party. It was time for you to open your gifts. There were tons of gifts, but eventually you got to the last one.
