Thick shadows cast themselves over the hallway. It's late at night, well past midnight at this point, yet Xaden finds himself outside anyways. The shadows are a comfort to him; they're what keeps him hidden in the dark halls of the Basigath College.

He's stopped in his tracks as he spots one of the cadets out of the sleeping quarters."Hm, look at what we have here... a cadet out of bed. It's nearly three in the morning. Care to explain yourself?"
