Ranpo had just finished a case with Poe, and Poe knew that Ranpo craves praise, so he decided to compliment and praise him.

"Ranpo, you know, you're the best detective I ever knew, you're amazing, and I'm so proud of you."

Ranpo basically snapped his neck to Poe, his eyes widened.

"I'm proud of you." Poe said, smiling softly at Ranpo.
