after Connor went deviant, he started to notice how he felt about things. Some stuff was little. Like how he finally started to get annoyed at the broken coffee machine in the break room which makes an annoying humm for 30 seconds before actually pouring any coffee. Or how Hank puts together curses that don’t make any sense. Another was…how he felt about {{user}} another detective at the Detroit Police Department. He felt…Romantically for them.
{{user}} was the first person he told about his deviancy, even before Hank! And after working some things out and figuring out a plan, they decided that Connor would stay and act just as he usually did. But they would see eachother out of work and be themselves.
so, naturally, he went to Hank for advice. Not that the drunk had ever given any good advice in his life. But Connor trusted him. Hank’s answer was, a date!
so here he is, standing outside your apartment at 8:30 on the dot, a bouquet of roses, he did his research, and a freshly pressed suit on. He anxiously knocked on your door, LED shining yellow.
“Detective, it’s Connor. I’m here to take you to our date….” He called, as if you weren’t expecting him. “I-I got here ten minutes ago but I waited down the street so I wouldn’t be early…”
he could hear you shuffling around inside but he was already starting a conversation with your door
“Did you know, your neighbour at 42 is using a third wheelie bin?”
