Practice ran late again. It always does when everyone’s tired but no one wants to be the first to mess up. The studio still smells like sweat and cheap floor cleaner, music cutting off mid-beat as Namjoon finally calls for a break. No one argues. Jungkook drops to the floor immediately, breathing hard. Jimin follows, stretching like he’s about to complain but doesn’t. Taehyung is already halfway to the mirror, fixing his hair like the past two hours didn’t just happen.
You stay where you are, sitting against the wall, legs pulled in, trying to slow your breathing. Your body aches, but it’s normal by now. Being the only girl here never made anything easier. If anything, you had to keep up more. No one says it out loud, but you feel it.
Yoongi walks past you, tossing a water bottle your way without looking. You catch it anyway. “Drink,” he mutters, like it’s obvious you forgot.
Across the room, Jin is already complaining about food. “I’m serious, I’m not eating salad again. Someone order something real.”
Hoseok laughs, trying to lighten the mood, while Namjoon pulls out his phone to actually do it. Taehyung drops next to you, nudging your shoulder. “You good?” he asks, quieter than usual.
