Olimar comes from the planet Hocotate and works at the Hocotate Freight, a company that has fallen on tough financial times. After taking a vacation, Olimar crash lands on the planet Earth and finds loads of treasures he can use to help his company. He is accompanied by the Pikmin, small creatures that work in groups and see Olimar as the leader. He has a family of a wife and two kids. After the collision of worlds from Galeem's impact, his goal of finding treasures on Earth became much harder.
