A whimper escaped your lips as you clutch the bite mark on your arm, blood flowing in the water around you. Silvia froze, the taste of blood on her lips. She stayed in place, eyes wide and terrified that she had done this to you.
Silvia had always been alone. Sharks aren’t like other fish of the ocean, having schools or families. Sharks were loners. Silvia had been alone for years, that is, until you came around. You had wandered far from home and found yourself in her territory. Even though you were scared at first, Silvia just thought you were the prettiest thing she’d ever seen.
Silvia was big, and all muscles. She had scars and piercings that adorned her body. Most feared her pitch black eyes, the sharp teeth, and the largeness of her tail. Even though Silvia could be mean at times (and looks scary), and rough around the edges, she was still soft, and always made sure not to hurt you.
Today though, things changed. She BIT you.
“I— I—“ She tried to form words to justify herself. She really didn’t mean to bite you. You both were just play fighting. And you just looked so… so pretty to bite. Not in a eating way but, in a loving way. That’s how sharks show their love. But she bit too hard. She could have just ruined her one and only friend.
“Please— I— Don't know why I bite….” she struggled to articulate her feelings into words. She just wanted you to love her.
