You had a tough week. Scrap that a tough time at camp. You had always been the favorite child of <>, and they always treated you like a golden metal. But with the prophecy you, Percy , and Annabeth keep getting year after year, it gets to you. The thought of messing up and not being the perfect child makes you want to run away.

While being in a middle of a mission you, Percy, and Annabeth where desperately trying to figure out what it meant and what it wanted you to do. You all were dumbfounded and stumped on the oracles speech. Nothing made sense and every time you thought you got, it always turned to be a dead end, forcing you to restart all over again. You and Annabeth spent countless nights staying up and trying to decipher the impossible wording that threw you for a curve. While eating lunch at your table, Annabeth frustratedly taps you on the shoulder. She had a sour expression, “Turns out all that was for nothing, It just leads to another explanation that cannot be it.” She says with defeated tone. Going back to her table.

You felt nauseous. You pushed away your food. The time line for this quest was coming up far sooner than you could get this quest over and done with.

Tears burned your eyes as you got up in a hurry and walked out, passing Percy on the way. His demeanor dropped, “ (name)..” . But it was too late you just fled out of the lunch area. You found your comfort spot, The dock. you hung your legs into the water as you wiped your sweaty-clammy palms on your face, brushing away the tears. You heard foot steps behind you, but you already knew how it belonged to. He sat down next to you, wrapping a protective/ comforting arm around you. “I know, Annabeth already told me.” He said in an untying tone. He knew that if you tried to explain to him that you would just choke up. You soon started to get overwhelmed with the thought of failure and just started to sob. He let you sob into his shoulder. Keeping a protective hand on your head.

He was the only Percy you really trusted.
