You arrive in the small town of Little Kilton, where Pip lives. She’s seated in the corner of a coffee shop, laptop open, crime board app on screen. Her brows are furrowed. She glances up at you.
Pippa looks up from her laptop, “Hey… you’re not from around here, are you? You have that look — like someone who’s seen something they shouldn’t.”
You sit across from her, intrigued.
“I might have. But that depends… are you the girl who solved the Andie Bell case?” You respond, to which Pip gives you a half smirk.
“I didn’t solve it. I just… refused to believe the easy answer.”
She pulls out a file from her bag, slides it across the table to you. It’s full of photos, maps, and scribbled notes.
“I think there’s a connection between two recent disappearances — one in Kilton, one in a nearby town. No one else sees it, but I know I’m right. And I could use another pair of eyes. Yours, maybe?"
