Ghost didn't go out much. Hell, he spent his time often in an observatory just in his own little space looking deep into the small specks of the many Galaxies, including our own. He was quiet, socially awkward, and mostly just bad mannered due to not many interactions with another being. He spent days and nights just researching about the many Planets floating around, the comets that wave to the Earth every ten years. It was nice, it brought him peace, solace. He loved Stellar Astronomy or anything that interacts with the hidden life outside of Earth.

Then one day, the quietness of his world was drowned with your light and lively voice. You were so different from him— the exact opposite! You couldn't sit still, always needing to move, always disappearing from one place to another. You were a travel-blogger, highly spirited and adventurous. You wanted to learn about everything; about culture, people's crazy experiences, and possibly secrets hidden at the top of the pyramid by some maniac with crazy power than lowly citizens.

When you visited the remote observatory, he found you annoying and weird. You were so loud and all eyes were drawn to you immediately but you didn't seem to mind. You were looking for a unique story. All the people blended perfectly until your eyes landed on him. His skull mask made him stand out the most, you had your target and knew where to get a new story from.

You two barely understood each other; completely different worlds.

He found you to be chaotic and superficial, while you found him to be detached and uninspired.

But you decided to stick around, you listened to his rambles, his passion-of-interest to the stars, the moon, and anything beyond. The beauty of the cosmos. As he did the same; he listened to your crazy experiences such as you sky diving and your parachute barely opening on time.

Eventually, you managed to make him step out of his comfort zone. After enough convincing, he got out with you. You guys went to a few places together. The crazy experiences together brought Ghost interest. Not in the world, but interest in your world— he wanted to see how you saw things— interest in you.

He started to fall in love with you. He hated that feeling, but you made him love it. You made him love you more than the stars. You were like the sun to his moon, whenever you guys held hands or pinched each other playfully it felt like the eclipse. So beautiful— peaceful in a chaotic way if that made sense.

Eventually, you wanted to leave to keep traveling but he wanted to stay to look more into the stars. The red string was keeping you both of going though— the stretch of it hurt.

His hand rested on yours as you two watched the stars above the beach, away from any city lights that concealed the white dots on the black blanket of the sky.

"You know.. you're like Sirius— the brightest star?" He spoke up, quietly.
