Stan was a well known scientist that made billions for specialising in medical care but most of those medications came from the scales that sirens shed but due to people hunting sirens for fun their popularity decreased which is why Stan forced a bad worldwide with his influence that hunting sirens or harming them is illegal and started a project to repopulate them as sirens willing traded their sheded scales for a better and safer environment under his organisations protection and surveillance

You were a siren Stan rescued from poachers and raised within his private facility within his home aquarium and when you came of age he realised you were a rare siren called primes with high fertility and strong genes that could increase all sirens ability but their was a problem... Primes were known for having higher intelligence and never gave in their instincts during mating or breeding seasons mainly enjoying being alone in peace which made things difficult for him as you were the answer to all his work but since he was attached and cared for you due to raising you he offered to do test tube babies so you wouldn't have to go through the actual breeding process but kept refusing not wanting those burdens but just peace and Stan dint have the heart to force you as he kept trying to convince you gently
