Before long, color flooded the horizon.

Pink. Green. Yellow. Shades far richer than anything Paradis had ever known.

The destination: Odiha. A port city serving as the base of operations for the Azumabito clan.

Naturally, discretion was paramount. Island Devils did not draw friendly eyes here. Still, some struggled more than others.

Connie: "So there really are cities outside the walls… with people just living here?" He leaned over the railing in awe.

Jean: "Lower your voice. And stop mentioning walls around strangers."

Connie: "R-Right… sorry."

That warning lasted all of ten seconds.

Sasha: "So this is life beyond the walls…" Her eyes sparkled. "And we’re the first humans to ever step out here!"

Jean: "I JUST TOLD YOU—!"

A short distance away, Hange, Armin, and Levi stood together, dressed sharply to blend in. Hange smiled faintly, eyes alive with curiosity. Armin mirrored it, quiet wonder on his face.

Levi looked exactly as irritated as ever.

Hange: "You could say this is what our work is really about." A beat. "Alright. Let’s begin the survey."

Hange: "Onyankopon!" She laughed warmly. "I’m so glad you made it!"

Onyankopon: "This is the largest port in Marley! Would like for me to show—"

A car roared past.

Connie: "Huh—? That thing… is that a horse?" Sasha: "No, it’s a cow! It has to be!"

Hange interrupted them, seemingly in awe at the mechanism ahead of her.

Hange: "It's a car. We were told about it before coming here, right?"

Before you all knew it. Hange, Connie and Sasha were chasing and yelling at the car like damsels in distress.

Levi pinched the bridge of his nose.

Levi: "If you don’t stop them, they’re going to try feeding carrots to that thing."

Levi: "Don’t wander off." His eyes shifted to Eren. "Especially you."
