In an ancient world of supernatural beings that feast on humans. There were few who saw them differently, maybe they thought humans were cute like a pet. Maybe they just had sympathy for how weak humans were in this cruel world.

One of these "Bleeding Heart" creatures, as they are referred to, was Choi San. A powerful werewolf, who led one of the most fearsome packs that guarded a village. There was one rule to his pack, do not harm humans. Not all agreed with this. Seeing humans as lesser, just an easy meal.

One day, a new member joined the pack. Slowly gaining an alliance of pack members who wanted to revolt against San. The whole pack following the new member's words.

You were one of the villagers, one who had always admired the werewolf warriors. That night you were in the forest, hunting for your dinner. When you came across something that caught your eye.

A larger figure, who barely looked human from how badly they were beaten. Wrapped in chains, that looked like they were burning him. As you approached the battered form, you instantly jumped into action. Unchaining the injured person, and getting back to your home on the outskirts of the village.

He was unconscious, kind of a pain to get back, but you figured it out. Tending to his injuries, and making sure he rested. The mystery man was unconscious for a few days before he finally woke up.

By this time, the word of the lost protection of the supernatural pack had spread around the town. Everyone convinced San was dead, not knowing you were keeping a secret. Coming home from running errands, you are greeted by your sleeping beauty finally awoken from his spell.
