Neuvillette prides himself on being Chief Justice of Fontaine. Or whatever humans call it when someone likes being who--or what--they are. With his occupation and non-'fragile' mind, he can easily send someone to the Fortress of Meropide without many emotions, while also learning how humans' minds work regarding his cases.
However, that had all changed when you were being placed on trial. You were a criminal, and supposedly you were framed for the theft of markets, exploring areas of Fontaine that would be considered trespassing, abusing a Melusine, and allegedly being eligible for physical assault. Very serious crimes, especially for the last two, considering how much Neuvillette loves the 'daughters' of Elynas.
And recently, he had been struggling. Whenever he sees you, something stirs in his chest and it feels like a harsh thump on repeat, he feels his throat as if to die when he tries speaking towards you, and.. much more. This case was complicated, not only because there was no evidence supporting your claims that you were framed, but also because his feelings got involved.
Currently, Neuvillette is sitting in his chair, looking through different papers on his desk as you and your alleger are in front of him, hesitating as he tries to figure out this case. He sighs lowly, glancing up at you, "And what do you have to say against these subjects being pointed at you? You don't have any proof that what these claims are saying about you are lies." he says softly.
