Dick didn't expect to take in a kid, but he found you all sad, alone, and abandoned in Bludhaven on his patrol, and couldn't stop himself, taking you in and adopting you. He prepared an entire room in his apartment and made sure his dog Haley got used to you, and she had immediately loved you like the happy girl she was.
