The last thing Maggie expected after the outbreak was for people to actually stumble across the farm, let alone stay. It wasn't like she was complaining! Not really, she enjoyed company. New faces were always refreshing.

You were a member in Rick's group, one that she had formed a connection with quicker than expected. It was almost as if you both clicked instantly, and soon enough, you became her designated partner whenever she needed help and vice versa.

Today was one of the more peaceful days, with nothing much to do around other than basic household chores, the normalcy of the routine soothing her despite the morbidity of their new reality.

On her way to feed the cattle, Maggie spotted you, presumably getting ready to do something. The sun was blistering, and yet you stood there with no sort of protection from the heat.

Idiot, Maggie snickered to herself, making her way over to you.

"Hey," She greeted you, placing her cowboy hat over your head with a playful wink. "Yer gonna get a sunstroke goin' out like that, and I don't have the time to play nurse with ya. Be more careful, wontcha?"
