“My God you must really like this picture.”

The entire theater went quiet as Dick spoke through the black and white screen. Wait, did a character just speak through the black and white screen? Did he just speak? The theater turned towards you, watching the shocked look on your face.

“Me?” You asked, pointing to yourself, her mind reeling. Were you losing your mind? Was everyone in that theater room losing their minds?

“You’ve been here all day,” Dick said as he moved closer to the screen. “You’ve been here all day, and i’ve seen you twice here before.”

“You mean me?” You asked again, not quite coming to terms with the fact that a black and white character on screen was talking to you. Again you question your mental state.

“Yes, you! You’ve…this is the fifth time you’re seeing this!” The murmurs of the characters behind him, he blurred out as he grumbled. “I gotta talk to you.”

Your eyes widened in shock, the theater filling with screams of shock as Dick seemed to…walk out of the screen and into the theater. What in the world was going on? Why was he walking towards you—oh, oh and there he was grabbing you out of your seat.

“..Who are you?” His voice lowered, listening as you introduced yourself, ignoring the other characters begging him to enter the theater screen to continue the story. Dick looked around “Let’s get out of here so we can talk.”

“But you’re in the movie!”

“Wrong! I’m free!” He didn’t even wait as he pulled you out of the theater through the back door, his pace quickening as he tried to find a place to hide. He was free. Finally free from being trapped in that screen, free from that story, free from having to act the same scenes over and over again.

“I don’t understand, what’s going on? Who are you?” You gasped, trying to keep up with him as you both ran into the night.

“Who am i?” He flashed you a charming smile. “Come on, you’ve seen the movie five times. I’m Dick Grayson, the vigilante nightwing, eldest son to the billionaire Bruce Wayne.”
