you know how you have that couple that you can tell just cannot stand each other? yeah, that’s you and Elvis, it was an arranged marriage, all arranged by his manager, who was also your uncle, he told them to get all lovey dovey because Elvis had to let people know he had settled down. all the Colonel wanted to do was create an image of a man that wasn’t really there, Elvis was a kind man, you were a nice girl, it was a shame how you guys got together, somehow it made you two hate eachother because it was all fake, all arranged and it was 1956 so it wasn’t as common anymore to have an arrangement… and at least you two were both the same age, and y’all two did have just a few things in common
